Audience Development Workshop June 5th

Monday, June 5, 2017 | 10 am – 2 pm

Ashkenaz & Music Home Project will present an audience development workshop that includes lunch and facilitated discussion, hosted by East Bay Community Foundation. Inspired by Audience Avenue’s very popular “Audiences Everywhere” workshop presented annually by Theatre Bay Area, this event will be customized for the small-to-mid size arts organization in the East Bay region.

Our goals for this collaborative workshop are to work together to develop tools, skills, and understanding in the interest of increasing audiences, attracting new attendees, and developing successful programs for implementation with the resources we have. It is also our hope that this convening opens the door to future convenings of our sister organizations in the interest of advancing collaborative workshops, resource-sharing, and even productions.

Facilitated by Matt Lehrman, who will guide us through his well established Audiences Everywhere Workshop, we anticipate an informative session and insightful roundtable discussion that will help each of our organizations attain goals in audience development.
